Designing believable, immersive new worlds has been the focus of my career for over a decade—from leading futuristic architectural concepts at Zaha Hadid Architects to developing cinematic environments for Hollywood films, games and immersive experiences.
As a Concept & Environment Artist, I specialise in cinematic worldbuilding, visual development and environment design, combining architectural thinking with hands-on production expertise across both offline and real-time pipelines. My work spans feature film, games, VR and interactive media, taking environments from early ideation through concept development, look development and final visualisation. Passionate about science fiction and visual storytelling, I enjoy creating worlds that are not only visually striking, but feel coherent, functional and believable.
Developing cinematic worlds across film, games and immersive media, collaborating with directors, designers and multidisciplinary teams from early visual development through production.
• Developed environment concepts and visual development for an upcoming major Hollywood science-fiction feature film, alongside cinematic shorts and immersive experiences for Meta Quest 3 and Apple Vision Pro.
• Produced cinematic keyframes, look-development renders and environment concepts using Arnold, Cycles and Unreal Engine across both offline and real-time pipelines.
• Designed environments that combine strong visual storytelling with architectural thinking, focusing on composition, atmosphere, scale and believable spatial design.
• Collaborated with studios including Polar Media, OUT Studio, and QSAS across the UK and Saudi Arabia.
Established and helped lead the studio's environment art capabilities, bridging architecture, immersive media and filmmaking through real-time production workflows.
• Led environment development across concept design, modelling, texturing, lighting and real-time rendering, delivering immersive experiences from early ideation through final production.
• Spearheaded the studio's transition from Unity to Unreal Engine 5, enabling new opportunities in filmmaking and interactive experiences that contributed to approximately 30% revenue growth.
• Collaborated with cross-disciplinary teams located across three continents to deliver complex immersive environments for high-profile clients like Nestlé, Vogue, and the Victoria & Albert Museum, ensuring cohesive visual storytelling throughout the projects.
Designed large-scale futuristic environments at one of the world's leading architecture studios, developing the understanding of scale, composition and spatial storytelling that now underpins my work in film and games.
• Led concept development for internationally recognised projects including Beijing Expo Phase II (640,000 m²), Sai Sha Sports Centre and Aljada Central Hub. .
• Specialised in complex hard-surface and parametric design, developing advanced geometries and spatial systems that pushed the boundaries of architectural expression while shaping my approach to composition, scale and believable spatial design.
• Directed multidisciplinary design teams through international competitions, helping secure multi-million-pound commissions for landmark projects.
